ive JUST heard about the swine flu. i live in saskatchewan,canada and im pretty sure there is atleast one pig farm around here. & i have a little girl who is behind in her needles she has had only her 2 month needles and shes almost a year (i know theres no excuses for not getting them, the fact is she doesnt have them. her next appt is this wednesday) but am i freaking out like should i wear one of those mask things when i go out? should i not let my baby around other ppl .. im just really scared for my baby most of all but i dont want to get caught in that. PLEASE HELP. and dont be mean. thanks

STOP worrying about thsi damn swine flu. No one in America has died. No one in Canada has died. All the deaths have happened IN Mexico.

Look. The normal flu kills a lot of people a year. AMERICANS. And it's contagious, very.

So why are you worrying so much of the swine flu? It's typically the same disease of the normal flu.

No, you probably don't.

Precautions:
Wash your hands before eating, sticking things in your mouth such as gum, etc.
Use a mask if an outbreak does happen. It blocks the germs.

Your probably not going to die in America if you have the swine flu.

Mexico isn't a terrible country - don't get that idea from this but they are in crappy enviroments. They don't have that great of healthcare. It's just the way things are.

So before you start worrying, think about what happens in Mexico and whats happening where you live.

I am kinda confused because some people are saying that it comes from pig and birds or from not washing your hands so im not sure.And they are saying that if you don't feel the symptoms you can die so I am not sure please help and why do people have to wear a mask?Also I live in El Paso, Texas and a little boy with the swine flu has been confirmed and apparently he died and now there are 3 more cases confirmed and 8 detected do you think people should start wearing the mask thing or what?

I think I have swine flu. Well my name is Carlos and it all started when my and my buddy Felix were out cutting some grass, when we were finished, I was feeling kind of sick, by the way, the guy didn’t pay us so we knocked on his door after he shut it on my face and asked for his broom. He gave the broom to us and we swept the grass back into his yard from the street. After that I went home to mama and she said I needed to feed the pigs, I went out and they were oinking because Felix was rubbing their belly. I was making a similar sound when I was coughing. But then I ran into the house and like the doorbell rang and I was leik what da F! WHAT DA F! Because I never had a visitor before. So it was like two guys who wanted me to wear this white mask and I said NU and closed the door and they were still there so I went to dial 911 but like this lady asking me what I needed answered and I was leik what da f and hung up. I ran outside and was like WHATS THE NUMBER FOR 911 they told me 911 and I said that I tried that so the creepy men offered me the mask again and I said FINE and put it on, then I coughed and like the mask went poof and fell in half, it like melted. So then they said my breath smelled like pig poop and I told them all I ate were some tacos. So then they told me to go to this address and it ended up to be a hospital and I saw a sign for hemorrhoids, and like I was familiar with hemeroids so I walked in that office and I was ATTACKED with big men in yellow rubber suits and some like super soaker stuff. So after THEY MADE ME TINKLE IN A CUP they sent me home with a suit and covered my face and told me not to leave the house so I was screaming at mama when she said that I dialed 411 instead of 911 so slapped her out of frustration and then she made me cry she told me to bend over and she spanked me with a wooden spoon and I was like “no mama please I sorry I love you” so then the police came when I called the right number and arrested me for being like….a diabolical eclipse of national Mexican security and a disgrace to all Mexicans or some big words like that. Then Felix got married AND STOLE MY CAR AND MY FAVORITE PIG NAMED BOBO!

I ate a pork chop, then I sneezed... or it might have been the pork chop...I'm not sure, now that I think about it, it didn't look very healthy... Am I going to die?

35,000 people on average die a year from the flu. Influenza is contagious right? Yes the swine flu went from pigs in Mexico, to humans, to other humans during contact.

What makes it so much worse than the normal flu? They are closing schools here and telling everyone to wash your hands and try not to make contact. People are wear masks. They never do this during flu season.

Someone said it was a different strand that scientist haven't seen in awhile, but what makes it more deadly????

So i know halloween is already over but this is just asking what u think about my costume.
My friend and i were the swine flu. we had pepto pink sweat suits and mine said H1 and hers said N1 on the front. then on our sleaves mine said cough and hers said sneeze. We also had foam pig masks to wear.

When the news broke, I decideded to get on public transportation wearing a surgical mask. I just heard that the Egyptian govt slaughtered 300k pigs, because of the swine flu. Who is worse?
