I want to dress up as Mickey Mouse for my daughters 2nd birthday. I have been looking online at Mascot Costumes and they are somewhat pricey for a 1 time occasion. There are no rental stores in the area I live. What I was thinking that I could do is just purchase the foam head of the mascot costume and then get a costume tuxedo (around .00) and some big gloves to complete the look. Trouble is I cant seem to find a place that just sells the mascot heads of the costumes. Does anyone know of a place that does this that wont charge me an arm and a leg?
I will buy a kind of mascot costumes .But I can't chose which one.

I've had some luck finding mascot costumes used in restaurants, such as my Chuck E. Cheese walkaround, but I'm at a loss for this one. Mcdonalds stopped using the Hamburglar in the 90's when he was retired. I know few people have actually gotten their hands on one of the mascot costumes of him used in the store.
Anyone know how I would go about getting one of these?
I basically want to make a project out of making what is essentially a giant turtle costume, and I was wondering if there were any guides on making a large mascot costume of any type, and what materials are used in mascot costumes. For example, should I use flexible pipe to hold it up, or wires, or would both of these appear poor? I want a viewer to think that the costume is "lighter than air" in a sense, no sagging, just all of it held up. Any suggestions? (Other than "give up" =P)
He is one of those people who dress up in like the mascot costumes and he wants to have sex.
What do I do?!
At my job we have 7 mascot costumes. These mascots are kept in plastic drum kit cases. After each use we ask that they be aired out for at least an hour before put back into the case. We also ask that it not be put in the case if it is wet. However, we can't always guarantee that our mascot users do this.
Because the cost of cleaning the Mascots is expensive, we only clean them after 10 uses. In between this time we have tried Dryer Sheets, Lysol Spray and Febreeze to keep the smell out. However, the costumes still smell.
I was wondering about putting Cedar chips in each of the boxes. Does anyone else have any suggestions?
