I went to the misfits show in cleveland at peabody's down under on the 23, and I was wondering about one of the bands that played. This band played right before cult of the psychic fetus, and they had a bunch of fake blood and costumes and stuff. How were they? They had two guys walking around stage in jumpsuits, pig masks, and they had the guy tied up in the rocking chair. I didn't hear them announce themselves, and I was wondering if anyone knew who they were. Thanks.

I know for many, it ain't over yet, (so feel free to edit later) but I work in a school & some of the costumes I saw on some of those kids cracked me UP! Many very original ones.
Abe Lincoln made me laugh & for some reason, so did Santa Claus. One little kid in an inflated sumo wrestler get up was great!

But the one that had me in stitches was this unusually tall 5th grader wearing a baby outfit. Big bonnet on the head & all & a bib that read: "Baby Wants a Sucker".
Another kid dressed a deviled egg! Very original! & funny!

I have tried to look around for awhile but the first people I tried to contact didn't give any response. And one person I was reffered to by a friend didn't work with that type of stuff...

So does anyone KNOW a place that will take commissions ans customs for a MASCOT costume?
Im talking like full body and big Ol Cartoon head type stuff... not just clothes and halloween costume makers....

And its not for a sports team or anything. Just looking for a costume.

I saw this lady dressed as a Heiniken bottle at work. The neck of the bottle was her hat..it was hilarious.

there's this kid at school who makes his own costumes out of boxes and makes them into a transformers character that can actually transform from a plane/car/truck/etc. to the robot

I grew up on a farm next to a larger farm that belonged to my best friend Annie’s parents. We were two little girls whose families were too busy for us and our days were spent making dreams come true.

We found thrown out bikes in the neighbors trash and that neighbor helped us get them running, I painted mine fuchsia with sixties style daisies, Annie copied the fuchsia but put happy faces on hers. We found old wood in the barn to make a Barbie dream house like the one we saw on TV only it didn’t really look the same when we were finished. We decorated its interior with material our mom’s tossed out and made a few dresses by cutting holes for the head and arms and tying the waste with hay bail rope. They were the prettiest dresses I ever had because I made them and told stories about my great talents to people who liked listening to me.

We learned to swim in another neighbor’s pool. No one else on that secluded dead end road socialized with the two female teachers who bought a farm and appeared to be a couple. I am still friends with one of them, the other passed away a few years back. She brought culture into Annie’s and my life and encouraged us to behave like little ladies.

Each Halloween we spent days making our costumes and laughed for days after remembering compliments each neighbor made while eating candy bought special for us, because we were the only remaining young children on that road. Alone in the dark we walked through the woods, scared and clinging to each other, to the houses at the end of the road…

We accepted each others wonders about boys and sought answers that didn’t really pan out as truths. But most importantly, we healed each others childhood wounds.

I don’t wish to return to a time when I had limited control of my fate but I wish everyone else didn’t stop chasing dreams. So what if it doesn’t work, wouldn’t it be really cool if it did or better yet a different result is achieved that is bigger and better?

My friends and I are going, even though we're a little old. I have know idea what to go as, and I don't want to be more out of place than I already will be. As for a costume, well, I'm a pretty much a tomboy, so go easy on the pink costumes. Thanks!

Are the "mazes" at Knotts Scary Farm actually mazes, or are they just walk-through things? Some of the Youtube videos look like mazes, others, the person is just wandering around.

I had to mute the volume to watch it all the way through, and it still made me jump. Haha. My friends are going to have to DRAG me in. They jump out of nowhere in these creepy, bloody costumes.... Oh god... I got scared watching the Scooby Doo movie in 5th grade. I'm gonna grab my friends in death grips, all the way through each of the mazes.

So halloween is coming up in a few weeks, and i am going to go trick or treating with my friends. I wanna know if i can put my guinea pig in a costume for halloween( i would only put her in it while im at home, like for a few minutes just for some pictures). Is this safe, like are there some costumes that are safe, or are they just a bad idea. And what kind of treats could i get or make for them for halloween? Thanks in advance.

and B) What can I be without looking like a fat pig?

Preferably a make-it-yourself costume with clothing, costume store costumes are cheesy for me (I bought a dorothy costume and I looked huge - too much tulle). I want to incorporate my puppy into it if I can. Help!
