ive JUST heard about the swine flu. i live in saskatchewan,canada and im pretty sure there is atleast one pig farm around here. & i have a little girl who is behind in her needles she has had only her 2 month needles and shes almost a year (i know theres no excuses for not getting them, the fact is she doesnt have them. her next appt is this wednesday) but am i freaking out like should i wear one of those mask things when i go out? should i not let my baby around other ppl .. im just really scared for my baby most of all but i dont want to get caught in that. I know for many, it ain't over yet, (so feel free to edit later) but I work in a school & some of the costumes I saw on some of those kids cracked me UP! Many very original ones.
Abe Lincoln made me laugh & for some reason, so did Santa Claus. One little kid in an inflated sumo wrestler get up was great!

But the one that had me in stitches was this unusually tall 5th grader wearing a baby outfit. Big bonnet on the head & all & a bib that read: "Baby Wants a Sucker".
Another kid dressed a deviled egg! Very original! & funny!

Called the doc. He said to check her body temp with a rectal thermometer because it's more accurate. Went to the drug store, bought one, I think I'm ready to get started.

My question: Should I hold down my pot-bellied pig with one hand while inserting the thermometer, or have my wife hang onto her while I do it?

Doc also says if her temp is up, I gotta put a mask on her (the pig, not my wife) and keep her home from school (my wife, not the pig). If that creates a problem, I'll be back to ask your advice, because I always like to seek a second opinion...

Its about a group of about 5-7 people who get kidnapped by a group of men who are wearing animal masks (pigs). They are taken to a cave & start wandering around the cave & find water. They all have to swim under water to try to get out of the cave but when they finally do get out they are captured again by the same men. I hope this is enough info.

Ok so i am doing a "Broken Doll" costume like the doll girls in The Doll Factory Maze at Knotts Scary Farm.

I already did my make up and dress yesterday, but i think something should be added to make it look more scary or more like the girls from the maze.

What is your baby going to be for Halloween?

My wife likes cats, and I'd like to have a pot-bellied pig...but we can only afford the food & vet bills of ONE animal, so here's what I plan to do....

We'll buy a cat to make her happy, but I'm going to design a "pig costume" for the cat..... rubber snout, wire guide to curl its tail... and even wrap pig skin around it so I can feel the stiff hairs in contrast to the cat's soft fir.

Is there anyone who would think I've got a mental problem?
