Ideas for a unique Harry Poter Costume other than a character?
I'm going to a Harry Potter themed party and i want to have a unique costume. (I saw on MLIA about someone who dressed up as a golden snitch, but i dont want to take their idea) Any ideas ?

Hmmm. How about dressing as "The Monster Book of Monsters" from "Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban? That’s the book with teeth, that tries to bite anybody who handles it, unless they stroke it along the spine.
If you don’t go to the party, you can be the Invisible Book of Invisibility, also mentioned in "… Azkaban."
You could be any of the magical creatures, such as a Hippogriff or a Flobberworm, or a Grindylow or Merperson, etc. Or Fawkes, the Phoenix.
You could be the Sorting Hat or the Goblet of Fire, I suppose. Or the magic mirror from the first book.
It would be extremely funny if you could dress as one of the Dursleys, Harry’s unpleasant Muggle relatives. Try to get two other people to do it with you, so the three of you can be Uncle Vernon, Aunt Petunia, and Cousin Dudley (Dudley would need a lot of padding).
I know you said you didnt want to go as a character but i think moaning myrtle would be a great costume.
