Ok so i am doing a "Broken Doll" costume like the doll girls in The Doll Factory Maze at Knotts Scary Farm.

I already did my make up and dress yesterday, but i think something should be added to make it look more scary or more like the girls from the maze.

I know the girl dolls have like Corsets, but does anyone know where i could get a cheap one?

And if you have any other ideas that i should maybe add to my costume please let me know.

I grew up on a farm next to a larger farm that belonged to my best friend Annie’s parents. We were two little girls whose families were too busy for us and our days were spent making dreams come true.

We found thrown out bikes in the neighbors trash and that neighbor helped us get them running, I painted mine fuchsia with sixties style daisies, Annie copied the fuchsia but put happy faces on hers. We found old wood in the barn to make a Barbie dream house like the one we saw on TV only it didn’t really look the same when we were finished. We decorated its interior with material our mom’s tossed out and made a few dresses by cutting holes for the head and arms and tying the waste with hay bail rope. They were the prettiest dresses I ever had because I made them and told stories about my great talents to people who liked listening to me.

We learned to swim in another neighbor’s pool. No one else on that secluded dead end road socialized with the two female teachers who bought a farm and appeared to be a couple. I am still friends with one of them, the other passed away a few years back. She brought culture into Annie’s and my life and encouraged us to behave like little ladies.

Each Halloween we spent days making our costumes and laughed for days after remembering compliments each neighbor made while eating candy bought special for us, because we were the only remaining young children on that road. Alone in the dark we walked through the woods, scared and clinging to each other, to the houses at the end of the road…

We accepted each others wonders about boys and sought answers that didn’t really pan out as truths. But most importantly, we healed each others childhood wounds.

I don’t wish to return to a time when I had limited control of my fate but I wish everyone else didn’t stop chasing dreams. So what if it doesn’t work, wouldn’t it be really cool if it did or better yet a different result is achieved that is bigger and better?

OK, so we are going to a campground (state park) in our area for halloween that has this big to do and costume contest, campsite decorating contest, etc. My best friend and her fam are coming with us, so we will have....

one girl and 4 boys ages are from 5 (the girl) - 13

Are the "mazes" at Knotts Scary Farm actually mazes, or are they just walk-through things? Some of the Youtube videos look like mazes, others, the person is just wandering around.
God, I'm so going to die this Sunday. Just watching this (http://youtube.com/watch?v=cw-BlaA6ORg) VIDEO freaks me out. I had to mute the volume to watch it all the way through, and it still made me jump. Haha. My friends are going to have to DRAG me in. They jump out of nowhere in these creepy, bloody costumes.... Oh god... I got scared watching the Scooby Doo movie in 5th grade. I'm gonna grab my friends in death grips, all the way through each of the mazes.

My husband is the Chaplain for a local group home and we are talking about putting on a Live Nativity. Can anyone help me? We have no idea about how to set it up, how many actors are needed, what costumes. We do have a farm with goats, horses and donkeys. Any direction would be greatly appreciated.

we live in a small town a trick or treating is only an 1,5 so sould i spend 30 dollars on a costume or should i make her a cowgirl or farm girl for free...she is 12 but its not like she has never went trick or treating so it shouldnt be that big of a deal but 30 dollars is alot to spend on a costume that barely fits her when i could make her one for free should i spend 30 bucks for that she will only wear it once for an 1.5 is it worth it?? i mena really?!?!?!

Is 30 dollars for a lady bug costume to expensive...we got my daughter a lady big costume and it is a small and it is to kinda small it can make do put if trick or treat night is only an hour and a half is 30 dollar for a costume that you wear for one night expensive or should i have her dress up as a home ade cowgirl or a farm girl?? Looking at the Miss Universe candidates native dress each wore for their introduction video, you see everything from folklore lions, to peasant farming gowns, to our very own Miss USA in a white jumpsuit with a guitar painted like the American flag, honoring her hometown, and Elvis. While she was not alone in her eccentric play on the category, do you think she should have worn the get-up? Past Miss USA's opted for a southern belle costume, or something from precolonial days going native american.

I read the book about a month ago, and I just watched to movie tonight. In it is somebody dressed in a fuzzy animal mascot looking costume in a room with a guy. I vaguely remember it from the book, but could somebody refresh my memory as to why someone was dressed in an animal costume? Thanks.

I plan on being carrie for halloween, I have the prom dress costume covered. but the blood part, no.
I have a hard time figuring out the blood part, I don't know what to use since the fake blood comes in small quantities, it would be pricey getting a decent amount needed, and stuff like ketchup stinks, and I got in trouble with my neighbor for trying to kill his pigs on his farm, so any suggestions?

I was just playing about the pig part, I don't even live next to a farm, more likely touch a live pig with a 50ft pole, or eat pork. just in the halloween spirit. lol

It was really funny sketch comedy. The actors would sometimes wear big animal costumes and do silly things, like a guy in a dog suit would chase a guy in a cat suit around the city, or a guy dressed as a turtle would cross the street very slowly, and so on. I think it was British because all the scenes seemed to take place in London. Please help...I loved this show!
