For halloween, my friends and I made these Saw-esque decorations. We made Billy the puppet and stuck him in on a little tricycle, we bought a little timer thing and since theres this little section for a garden in front of my door, were going to make a pig mask and get one of my friends to hide there. We were planning on having the person come up to our house and in front of the doorbell, we hang a tape recorder on a piece of string and have them playing. IF they do decide to play it, well have my friend in the pig mask to set the kitchen timer and when it goes off, he can jump out and scare them or whatever.
We live in a community of teenagers. They go trick-or-treating every year.

Anyway, what should be the message in the tape recorder if we do decide to go all out on this project?

I'm 19, by the way. I love halloween. When I said community of teenagers, I meant mostly teenagers. Their parents were already included.

so far i am wearing a black tu tu with hot pink on the rim of it and black fish nets with a tank top.. i need to add more to it but not sure what.

All i can remember is these guys are in the middle of the woods and they hold , little kids hostage...and they are wearing animal masks..like the one I remember is a pig mask..lol

I have just driven out 2 hours from Knoxville to Nashville to go to this Halloween bash tonight and I'm staying the night. So, I packed up, but when I got to the hotel, I realized I forgot my costume! What can I do with jeans, a pink tank top, a pink t-shirt (that lists the districts of New York City), beige slacks, an off-white wool shirt, brown sneakers, brown loafers, navy blue soffe shorts, and/or a maroon Life is Good t-shirt? I do not have any extra funds...

i need it for mine and my friends halloween costumes :p

Thanks. Motel Hell may not have been the first film to have pig heads/masks, but it's made before Saw so it works for me.

I LOVED my guinea pig costume... I was a guinea pig as a kid... so cute!! That was my favorite costume ever!

Ok so i am doing a "Broken Doll" costume like the doll girls in The Doll Factory Maze at Knotts Scary Farm.

I already did my make up and dress yesterday, but i think something should be added to make it look more scary or more like the girls from the maze.

there's this kid at school who makes his own costumes out of boxes and makes them into a transformers character that can actually transform from a plane/car/truck/etc. to the robot

right now i do have a few things that worked out good this past week we have gorilla mask, demon mask, old man mask, jason mask, wolfman mask, skull mask,pig mask,a few morei have 4 areas in my garage a spider area for the home,a place for the demon he sits in his box and comes out when people go by, a ghost area, an area where the old man is shackled to the curtain, the rest just walk around and scare people then we have the down stairs, we have jason, a little girl in or behind a cage saying help me, a lady that has makeup on and just sits there until people come and then she will get up and chase them or walk behind them, then we have a little boy that lays on a table with a knife by him and bloody, and then at the exit we have refreshments for the thirsty,

my graduation is comeing up and i want to hide my big pores!and blackheads. help!

I'm being a "Juicy Couture" girl for Halloween. Basically I'm wearing this light pink pettycoat thing, a big bow, juicy socks..I have no clue what to wear for the top though..I don't have any shirts that say "Juicy" on them, I grew out of them ages ago. What should I do? Thanks!

I grew up on a farm next to a larger farm that belonged to my best friend Annie’s parents. We were two little girls whose families were too busy for us and our days were spent making dreams come true.

We found thrown out bikes in the neighbors trash and that neighbor helped us get them running, I painted mine fuchsia with sixties style daisies, Annie copied the fuchsia but put happy faces on hers. We found old wood in the barn to make a Barbie dream house like the one we saw on TV only it didn’t really look the same when we were finished. We decorated its interior with material our mom’s tossed out and made a few dresses by cutting holes for the head and arms and tying the waste with hay bail rope. They were the prettiest dresses I ever had because I made them and told stories about my great talents to people who liked listening to me.

We learned to swim in another neighbor’s pool. No one else on that secluded dead end road socialized with the two female teachers who bought a farm and appeared to be a couple. I am still friends with one of them, the other passed away a few years back. She brought culture into Annie’s and my life and encouraged us to behave like little ladies.

Each Halloween we spent days making our costumes and laughed for days after remembering compliments each neighbor made while eating candy bought special for us, because we were the only remaining young children on that road. Alone in the dark we walked through the woods, scared and clinging to each other, to the houses at the end of the road…

We accepted each others wonders about boys and sought answers that didn’t really pan out as truths. But most importantly, we healed each others childhood wounds.

I don’t wish to return to a time when I had limited control of my fate but I wish everyone else didn’t stop chasing dreams. So what if it doesn’t work, wouldn’t it be really cool if it did or better yet a different result is achieved that is bigger and better?

I don't know what it is but that mask creeps the crap out of me, not the doll just the mask!

I basically want to make a project out of making what is essentially a giant turtle costume, and I was wondering if there were any guides on making a large mascot costume of any type, and what materials are used in mascot costumes. For example, should I use flexible pipe to hold it up, or wires, or would both of these appear poor? I want a viewer to think that the costume is "lighter than air" in a sense, no sagging, just all of it held up. Any suggestions? (Other than "give up" =P)

My friends and I are going, even though we're a little old. I have know idea what to go as, and I don't want to be more out of place than I already will be. As for a costume, well, I'm a pretty much a tomboy, so go easy on the pink costumes. Thanks!

Every year i make my costume and this year im either thinking piglet or eeyore i have blue eyes and light brown hair
im making the costumes cute not dorky so they wont have alot of material just ears and and all that.. what do you think?
